The 12 Days of Christmas Recipes

Pineapple Cranberry Salad by Crystal Messenger

(prep 10 in.)

1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, undrained
2  pkgs. (4 serving size each) JELL-O Raspberry flavor jello
1 can (16oz.) whole cranberry sauce
1 apple, chopped fine
2/3 c. chopped walnuts

Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Remove 1 Tbsp. pineapple, set aside. Add enough cold water to juice to measure 3 cups. Pour into sauce pan. Bring to a boil, remove from heat and dry jello mixes. Stir 2 minutes. Stir in cranberry sauce. Pour into large bowl. Refrigerate 1 /2 hrs. or until thickened.


Enjoy this refreshing, and sorta healthy, dessert as a completion to your Christmas dinner! :)
